About Us

Knepp Sand & Stone has been family owned since 1960. Started by Lester Knepp, the focus of the original business was agricultural limespreading and grain hauling which we still offer today. The current owner, John Schrock purchased the company in 1990.

In 1992 we added three types of landscaping stone. From that small beginning we have since grown into one of the largest landscape stone suppliers in Northern Indiana.

Due to our growth, in 2000 we moved into a larger facility just 2 miles south of the original building located in New Paris. In 2008 we added onto the office and storefront for the comfort and convenience of our customers. We now have 11+ acres of hardscape materials for our customers to browse.

Even though we have grown, we still feel that EVERY customer and their order (no matter how large or small) is vital to our business. At Knepp Sand & Stone we are passionate about natural stone and we want to give you one on one time to meet your hardscaping needs.
